Training cats to not bite and scratch
According to animal behavior specialists, cats are scratched to show affection
or invited to play in this way. In other cases, cats are going to scratch
and bite as a defence mechanism, but whatever it is said or said
this is something we don't like being exposed to from our cats.
How to play
with a cat may make it scratch or bite
There is a big difference between play and coarse handling
which one presents to the cat? If you treat your cat rough
- you will take the defense mode and scratch
- or bite this is instinctive in animals so
- you know how to caress your cat and play with her
- and if she doesn't want to play let her alone.
Always try to look at things from a cat's perspective and don't forget to
train your cat to appreciate various forms of affection such as manipulation
and soft speech. This ensures that your cat does not feel threatened
when trying to express such forms of affection.
Don't punish the cat
Punishing a cat is bad and does not lead to good results, this will make her
more afraid than it can lead to increased biting and scratching.
What needs to be done is to praise and reward your cat for her good behaviour.
Pets respond greatly to the equivalent and although cats misbehave a lot
they do not respond well to punishment unlike dogs.
You can just reward :
good behavior and when the cat behaves badly stop the reward
until the cat wonders what happened to cause the reward to stop.
And if the cat does some of you or scratches you, clap your hands and shout loudly
that way the cat will show you don't play with it and what she did is bad.
Is your cat affectionate and loves contact?
If yes :
you can try to ignore it
if you scratch. Just get out of the room and leave it alone for 10 to 15 minutes
do this every time you bite or scratch you until you start tying her
bad behavior to your absence and then stop it.
Playtime :
is best to train cats not to bite
Cats are fun and sometimes very fucking, such times are best to teach cats that
you don't like biting and scratching. If the cat bites you
scream;
Hold your hand and walk away
end the play immediately. Do this every time the cat scratches
with successive times the cat will know that biting and scratching ends the game.
This cat is bad and can lead not only to a few bites or scratches, but to a total war.
You will also fight if you get trapped in a corner and feel threatened.
Some people trap the cat in a corner of the room as a form of play
but this is in the cat's perspective trapped and threatened and not played.
